Abstract

Human papillomavirus (HPV) causes very diverse infection pattern ranging from subclinical infection to cervical carcinoma. Condyloma acuminatum is its benign manifestation. Its usual association is found with low-risk HPV 6 and 11. We are presenting a very rare case of condyloma acuminatum in pregnancy associated with high-risk oncogenic virus HPV 31, 45, and 73. Association with these high-risk variants is rarest to report. Our patient was managed conservatively and showed regression of all the papillae with time. She had leaking per vagina at 32 weeks spontaneously, and she delivered a healthy child vaginally within 15 minutes of reporting to hospital. Her husband also had genital warts on penile region and was treated with podophyllin.
