B-Lynch uterine brace sutures or uterine compression sutures not only help in achieving hemostasis but also preserve fertility and are an effective time-tested therapy.
Here, we are reporting a case of 26-year-old lady who had undergone an emergency cesarean section for central placenta previa in her first pregnancy. She had a massive postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), for which B-Lynch sutures were done.
Subsequently, she failed to conceive for 3 years because of severe pelvic adhesions and uterine deformation which was found intraoperatively as a consequence of previous use of B-Lynch suture. She delivered a late preterm baby through emergency C-section due to previous lower segment cesarean section (LSCS) with scar tenderness.
